Halleburton,
If you have a little DIY streak in you, I'd suggest consider doing a paint job on your gun w/ Aluma-Hyde II, a Cerakote type product sold by [link=(www.brownells.com)]Brownell's[/link]. I've painted a couple different guns w/ Aluma-Hyde II. It's a rattle can paint. It costs only $15/can. The action, barrel and most of the stock of this XP-100 was painted w/ Drab Green 3 seasons ago and has held up well. I did touch up a few spots this fall.

The action, bolt handle, barrel and stock background of this XP were painted w/ Aluma-Hyde II ?matte black.

If you decide to try the Aluma-Hyde II, let me know and I'll be glad to share some tips.
