I didn't read the article. I'm just basing my opinion off of the title. I don't agree with the poorly worded title, but y'all have to remember the times MLK was living in. There were very many white folks that did everything imaginable to undermine MLK's movement back then which yes ultimately ended his life. I'm sure a lot of those whites would've skinned MLK alive if they had an opportunity to do so.

Back then the black community was a unified culture, in order to effect change they had to be.
It's totally different in today. People are all out for themselves and when things doesn't go their way, they are way too quick to yell out an injustice, racism, or anything else they can think of that will help them get a leg up.

I read it. It goes like this:
- whites killed MLK.
- whites tried to atone for racist sins through MLK Day, civil rights legislation, the blood of white men in the civil war.
- whites were so awful to blacks for so long that whites just literally can't even.
- whites need to do better and listen to blacks.
