Whites also arrested, tried, convicted and imprisioned until death the shooter.
And
A black guy broke into my house several years ago am I now to hold all black people responcible for that. I kind of thought we were supposed to judge people individually.

After the assassination there were black activists who insisted it wasn't James Earl Ray. The narrative was that Ray was the scapegoat. It was a CIA plot. The US govt killed MLK.
