Yes. He has no choice. If HRC is indicted, HRC will cut a deal with the prosecution in exchange for testimony incriminating Obama.
Obama knew that HRC and Huma eschewed US Govt cyber-security laws and regs for the purpose of evading FOIA and the Public Records Act. Obama knew about it for years, and, despite that, he never corrected his subordinate's illegal activity. In fact, Obama didn't care at all about cyber-security until about 10 November 2016 when the issue became a political weapon for Democrats.
