Existence of jobs alone won't do it. FAMILY and Education is the answer. But, we can't talk about fixing education, because that's racist. And we can't talk about the failure of the traditional family unit, because that's racist too.
It's not really racist, but it would solve our problem. Liberals don't want that, though. They survive on poverty. As long as they can keep people in povery and uneducated, they will have a voting block sewed up.

Kids shouldn't be expected to get good paying jobs when they take classes in subjects like...

Not really, because once the jobs dry up or even slightly recede there is no pulling back on the increased entitlements which will inevitably be put in place for those who refuse to work.
