bwallcubfan: Great post! The "Little Rascals" post is the best ever on TD. I guess you have to be a really old guy to appreciate it.

So Bama is not only getting all of these highly touted LB recruits but now they are convincing them to redshirt?

He's got kids willing to take grey shirts to make room for recruits. He's got them believing everything he's selling.

I think he is a far better football player than Moses and could play at LSU almost immediately. And I think he will enjoy playing for Alabama. In approximately 2019. Or depending on how many five star top-rated linebackers sign next year (after they "process out" the riff-raff from this class of course) maybe 2020.

This is what I just don't understand. If I were a linebacker and I had an option of sitting on the bench for a couple of years, and yes, competing for national championships, or playing for Aranda, arguably, one of the most brilliant young defensive minds in the country, and seeing the field earlier, I wouldn't even hesitate. It's kind of a no-brainer: early playing time, learning from the best, and possibly only having to play 3 years as compared to 4 waiting your turn somewhere else.

Sounds like Allen is visiting this weekend. Any chance for O to flip him?
