Get a call supposedly from Citibank fraud stating that someone tried to open an account with my info. Operator is some foreign woman I can barely understand and needs my social security number to confirm who I am. I told her I wasn't giving it to her and she gets pissed. She passes me on to 4 more operators that I cant understand. Finally call the number on the back of my card and after 3 more "Peggy's", I reach the fraud department and a 100% English speaking operator. Turns out the original message was legit and some fricker named Quincy was trying to open an account. One hour and 45 minutes later and 9 operators they terminate the application. Why not just terminate it when I said I didn't complete a new application?

No way in hell they asked you for your social security number over the phone to confirm who you are if it was legitimate.

I can't even understand your head coach. And he's from Louisiana. What's your point?

You want Trump to intervene with more private businesses?

why not terminate it when someone named qunicy tried to open an account.

Reminds me of one of my events, except he succeeded.

Guy opens a 100k line of credit. Changed address, mothers maiden, birth date and actual name(first and middle), all with a bank I was doing business with at the time.

They kindly let me know they thought it was fraud and mailed me a letter, but they opened the LOC anyways. Guy spent 68k before they shut it down.

Or not, not impressed with Donald J. Trump, more impressed with Alec Baldwin as Donald J. Trump.

NO ONE is going to call from fraud prevention and ask for your full SSN. If the person on the other end of the line had the last 4 digits, its likely because they hacked into one of your accounts and can see the last 4, but everything else is hidden. The person who called you was probably a co-conspirator with "Quincy" and them pretending to be with Citibank fraud prevention was a phishing scheme in an attempt to get you to panic and give them your full SSN.

How did the discern the name 'Quincy' if they were trying to open an account with your info? Unless your name is Quincy?
