If there are any negatives re Sessions, cw...it's that he will not be in Trump's pocket, nothing close to what Obama employed DOJ as a tool to promote his Policy.
In Principle, that's good, as there is plenty of legit illegality to justify Sessions bringing the heat on Dem Operatives. But there are going to be times when a lot could be accomplished, but will need DOJ to make the first (investigative) move; then the evidence comes. Illegal voting fraud comes to mind.

I agree. He seems very independent-minded and very adamant about applying the law. Perhaps that's why Trump picked him. I think he is unambiguous about his own personal positions and beliefs, and it remains to be seen how he manages to separate those from applying the law as it currently stands. But I feel much better about the level of experience and integrity in a Sessions DoJ. Time will tell!
