Your unbelief is irrational because you have no verifiable justification for that unbelief. It is a choice and it is a choice of faith that you do not believe. Your unbelief is not based out of reason.
The bible says the wages of sin is death. This groups homosexuality into it because it is a sin. I don't see how that's hateful when everyone else is in the same boat.

the strong anti homosexual stuff comes from old testament almost exclusively,, which also contains dietary habits that I dont know one Church enforces
