Isnt it obvious we need to go back to a Dual Threat QB?
Last 4 national championships had Dual Threat QB for both teams

We need to go to whatever QB the OC wants.

Clemson won because they were able to make plays in the passing game. Alabama's freshman qb made some plays with his legs but didn't have many plays in the passing game.

QB who can make plays downfield seems to be the key. I don't think you need a QB that has running plays designed for him.

the only thing that is obvious; is that you need whatever QB fits your personnel.

Completing passes is a pre requisite to being a DT QB.

It's been awhile since we've had a QB like that. At least under Miles

Did you see how bad Jalen Hurts played, Dual Threat Quarterbacks, or not Hurts was garbage last night

The last 7 times Alabama has lost has been to a dual threat QB. I think that's pretty telling.

We need to recruit the best QB's. Doesn't matter what you classify them as, they just need to be good. And we need as many as we can get (2 per class is what I like to see)

It's all about oline play, we block bama's front 7 better we put up points. Everything starts with the oline.

You need a QB that can bet a team with his arm whether athletic or not. But if said QB is a threat running the ball will keep a defense on it's heels.

I've been preaching the power of a running quarterback for years. I agree. WE NEED someone who can stretch the defense and make them account for that extra runner. Particularly inside the red zone. Just like Jalen H. burned us...come on down, Lindsey Scott.

This isn't correct... You simply need a QB that gets the ball off fast, while making quick smart decisions and we also need OTs that are pass pro preferred. This opens up the run and LSU also should recruit RBs that can creat but is physical enough to take some shots or several backs and play them all. LSU also needs to teach their WRs and QBs how to create down field when the WRs look covered but are 1 on 1, high point the ball, back shoulder passes. If LSU simply did half of this we would be soooo much more successful. We have creativity coming and a great OT prospect. Defense is coming along faster which should be the direction. Now it's time to stack this OL starting NOW. Go from there bc that is your building blocks, the OL across the board and the front seven. Priority this year should be OL, tackles esp, LBs, middle esp, and more QBs, RBs. Then fill the rest with the best you can get. GT we are gonna change this. It's coming

Deshaun wasn't really dual threat last night though. He had some designed runs and made some plays with his legs but they won the game by throwing the football and have WRs and TEs make NFL catches.

Let's start with an accurate qb who isn't easily rattled and go from there.

After these past several years I'd settle for a Single Threat QB. Outside of Mett in 2013, our QBs have been Null Threats.
