He's going to leave a program he's literally taken to the top of the mountain to follow Nick Saban and all that doing so entails?

I couldn't help but notice that one of the first things Dabo did in his teary eyed post game interview was talk about how he loved the University of Alabama.
I don't know how you can just write off him being an alum. Basically the ultimate goal for all coaches is to coach your alma mater to a championship.
