I think a lot of people assumed he'd leave Clemson when Saban left town but now I'm not so sure.

Agreed. He can be the Bear Bryant of Clemson or try and follow Saban. Seems like an easy decision but who knows

There isn't good reason for him to leave Clemson. He's worshipped there, and who wants to follow Saban?

He will be Alabama's next coach. All tonight did was further cement that. We probably won't even interview anyone else at this point.

He's called Clemson his Alabama, he has no desire to ever leave I don't think.

I know a lot of coaches say stuff like that and in comes huge money offer and they leave, I don't see that from Dabo though.

He's going to be cemented much like Stoops in Norman, OK. Dabo will never pay for a meal or a drink in Clemson ever again. He will get a new contract with some earned dollars. No reason to head to T(railer)-Town.

Follow Saban?

I can't see him doing that.

I never thought he'd go there even before winning last night. There's just no real reason to. I know people have a special fondness for their alma mater, but Dabos now been at Clemson twice as long as he was at Bama. I'm sure he's developed a genuine love for that university as well. Following Saban's shadow just doesn't seem very appealing. He may listen to some ridiculous $100 million/10 year deal, but I think that's what it'd take.

I would stay at Clemson and be a deity.

I think he has the chance to be the big man on campus at Clemson. I don't think he leaves now.
