Just finished watching it for the first time.

Thought it was fantastic. A very fun western.

Not many movies have a sense of danger and loss. Killing the main characters was great. I was nervous they'd all ride off into the sunset together unscathed.

I thought they had solid screen chemistry and the final gun battle was pretty cool.

It was entertaining. Not particularly memorable for me, but I'm not a big fan of westerns anyway.

It's fun...but not much of a Western.

IDK, Westerns are a genre that has a certain pace to it and moral reckoning.

This was Assault on Precinct 13 in 1860. It was so crazy gun-fighting, there was a slight pause in the sound of gunfire toward end of the movie and you thought the film had stopped.

I mean it really is Mad Max Fury Road in an Old West prop set...or...the Wild Bunch on Klendathu.

I mean, it's insane and was fun for classic 80's flicks where bad gun shoots 100 rounds and good guy shoots 1 round and it's a Ralphie dead-eye shot to Black Bart...pushing up daises immediately. I mean every guy who died (who was bad by the script) died immediately from being shot. Every good guy (by the script) hung on to talk some good wisdom.

There was no Western introspection and the bad guy got no respect in this movie which is sort of against the Western code.
