Blaming Obama for ALL of this is just stupid, in my opinion.
It has been EIGHT (8) years! EIGHT (8) long-arse years! Are you still blaming the other 'W' guy?

You want to define "stupid"?
Blaming Bush at this stage fully qualifies.

Obama has overseen the worst post-recession economic recovery in the history of our country. It is what it is. He berated business. He increased taxes. He increased regulations. He oversaw and encouraged social unrest. He was awful.

When did I blame Bush? He was warning against the policies that led to the housing crisis. I don't think that what happened was his fault at all. I blame Bush for several things that went wrong, but most of them have to do with not being strong enough and with trusting people he should not have. I don't blame him for the economic collapse. There are many other factors beyond who the president is. Come on.

Obama was awful. I agree. I never voted for him and I wouldn't vote for him today. But, I am asking what policies he implemented that cause the economy to be awful for the last 8 years.

1. I don't think the economy WAS awful for the last 8 years. I work in an industry where I deal with people's money and I see how they spend it and what they spend it on. I can tell you that the 2007-2009 time period was awful. By 2012-2016 we were rolling again and people were spending money like crazy. It was coming from somewhere.

2. The recovery was slow and tepid. But, by and large, things have returned to a level of normalcy and we aren't riding high on any major bubbles right now, unless you want to count the entire stock market. This has been more like the 1950s than the 1980s, but there has been money to be made if you know what to do. Most people don't know what to do. It is hard. I get the frustration.

3. Aside from lowering taxes and cutting spending, what policies should Trump reverse? Decrease regulations? I agree. Which ones? Create a more business friendly environment? I agree with that too. How should he do that?

I just think that there is more involved than what the president does. The best thing that a president can do for the economy is keep taxes low and get out of the way, in my opinion. Obama inserted himself all over and slowed things down. But, I don't blame the whole economic malaise on him just like I don't blame the collapse on Bush.

Let's look at the facts:

323 million Americans
152 million are employed (according to the conservative news article you cited)
95 million not employed

323 - (152 + 95) = 76 million Americans who are below age 18 and above age 62 (avg. age of retirement according to SS)

Only 76 m below 18 and above 62 (will die at 80)?

That's 36 years Not working, and 44 years Are working.

The numbers defy logic.
