I have always thought D'Antoni was a good coach that really can make an offense thrive with players that buy in.
His playoff record leaves something to be desired but you have to remember when he had Phoenix he was coaching small ball before small ball was a thing across the NBA.
The Suns had issues in the playoffs because the games became more physical and the west had a lot of dominate big men.
Now the NBA plays D'Antoni type of game and I do not think he will have the same issue in the playoffs now. Plus Harden gives him way more options than Nash did.
