Which gun for geese?

Making a goose hunt this weekend. Have never hunted specifically for geese. I have a Rem 1100 I can shoot 2 3/4 shells with a 30 inch full choke barrell or an over/under I can shoot 3 inch shells full choke in a 28 inch barrell. Assume I shoot #2 steel from both. Which gun/ load would you use?

I'd shoot the 3" gun with BB or BBB load.

and i would not shoot steel through a full choke but that is just me your results may vary if you are borrowing the gun be prepared to but it.

I've killed geese with both 2.75 and 3", #2s-BBB. Hope for a clipped wing or head shot

Minimum 3" BB
Aim for the head
Don't flock shoot.. pick a bird and blast.. rinse and repeat !

I'd shoot the 3" even though you are giving up the third shot. Get 3" BB's and make sure it's a heavy load like 1 3/8 oz. shot.
