You are basing that premise on:

A) an undersized qb that has never taken a meaningful college football snap
B) players that have already been passed up on depth chart

That's why it seems personal.

Etling isn't a 5 star recruit that's gonna make millions in the NFL.
We don't have one of those on the roster currently.
Luckily for LSU that's not what we need.
If Etling makes the improvements that WE ALL expect ALL players to make from their 1st year starting to their 2nd year, then there's Absolutley no reason why his performance and production won't be more than enough to give this team every chance to win every game next year.

You can't argue with that.
If you do, that's why it appears like its personal or you have some sort of agenda driven narrative.

That's as plain as I can put it to you.

Basing my opinion on watching this season and the video posted. I'm hopeful the answer could come from "anyone" on the depth chart. With a new OC, hopefully "who got passed" goes out of the window. Not personal at all. We are supposed to be a major football power. We need "that guy" at QB.

On improving, of course that goes with ALL players. I have know idea as to the NFL potential of the rest of the roster (and don't care). If you want a real shot at a national championship, you need more. That's not personal. Just my "personal" opinion.
