no..Though the USCG is a pseudo law enforcement entity, it is still a military organization. CBP and the USCG are incompatible.

I'm not asking them to be compatible. I'm asking if the CBP should be disbanded and their duties taken over by the coast guard.

The armed forces are governed by Title 10 and Title 32 (National Guard).
The USCG is governed by Title 14.
They are not the same. The USCG is more compatible with the Border Patrol than it is with the U.S. Navy.
