It was excessive celebration, I believe.

He interacted by slapping hands with a fan during the celebration, i.e. "Orlandeaux Leap".

5 minutes of dancing and choreographed high five routines is what happened.

It was for interaction with the stands. it was just a high five but that is the rule. It's a dumb rule but it is the rule. one of those situations where you can't blame the ref have to blame the rule.

I still remember the first time I saw the penalty called for high fiving fans. Skylar Green had a put return vs Arizona, and his momentum took him to the wall. He nonchalantly high fived a couple of people and the flag came out.

I was sitting in that exact corner of the end zone that Guice scored in on that play. It was a stupid flag. The No Fun Bowl is what it should have been called. But to make up for that shitty flag the refs threw some shitty flags on Louisville later in the game to try to make up for it.

The commentators were pissed about the flag being thrown.

I think the problem was it was choreographed AND in the field of play - if they're off the corner of end zone or on the sideline, there's no flag.
