I am not defending the people who do these things to famous people, but if you are "famous" you have to be aware of the environment you will be in. You will be in the eyes of the general public and you have to learn how to be mentally tough to do that. She could be using the opportunity to make news and keep people talking about her, but unless it is an extreme situation she has to learn how to roll with the punches.
