Also was in Tammy and the Bachelor with Leslie Nilsen. She was smoking in that movie.

And how popular was the name "Tammy" before this film? I'm sure it existed but T&TB must have helped enormously in getting it known
And not just the movie -- the theme song "Tammy" was a #1 hit for DR, though I prefer the version sung by the Ames Brothers over the opening credits
