That's what I was hoping to hear. Their lift tickets are like half of some of the other places.

Wolf Creek is amazing. Went last December and got 3 feet in 2 days. When it snows there it dumps. There is no on site lodging. You either have to stay in Pagosa Springs or South Fork. The Pagosa springs side of the pass has more options to eat, sleep and things to do but that side of the pass has a higher chance of closing during a storm. I stayed at foothill lodge in south fork and it was cheap and they sold discounted tickets to wolf creek also. Only a few places to eat though and one grocery store if I remember correctly.

As someone side earlier it does have some flat areas so if you snowboard like me there will be times you have to walk out or skate a little. But there is some amazing hike to terrain and if it snows during the week you will still find fresh snow for a few days after.
