And yet that same formula, applied to mainstream TV and Movies, does not work. So why do they continue to purvey it?
How can you possibly presume to have more insight into how a nationwide insurance firm should reach the largest number of customer than the actual firm itself? How much money, time, effort and study do you suppose State Farm commits to developing a marketing strategy?
And I don't know why different strategies work better for 30 second ads than for full-length movies, that's not something I've ever spent invested time investigating. But the idea that these mediums don't reach people in identical ways makes perfect sense to me. I have no idea how that's relevant to the discussion

The ad shows a white person, a black person, a man, and a woman.
That "reaches" a lot of people in this country.
