There has always been a shadow movement within libertarianism that pointed out capitalism/markets/freedom are western in origin and essence, and that it should be defended.
The fact of the matter is this: many libertarians are correct when they say that deporting all brown people will make it easier to pass "libertarian" legislation because whites are much more likely to believe in things like low taxes, no welfare, etc.
It's a horrible thing to think and do, but it's the truth.

Shadow movement? Dude, this idea is plastered all over every major libertarian work. It also has dick to do with the alt right. Your analysis is weak IMO.

It's a messaging problem.
There are plenty of reasons for minorities to distrust the government. Libertarians should hammer those reasons 24-7.
