Is Divinity ready to start in the SEC?
I ask those who know the position and watched him.
He was VERY highly touted on this board from the earliest recruiting days of that class, often in terms of him being critical to the success of the class. Some seemed to think he was a bigger prospect than Devin W.
Anybody have a feel for how Divinity is developing?

I'm no expert, but prolly still a year away. Devin looked better to me.
I expect Devin, Donnie, and Thompson to get most of the snaps next year.

Did Thornton redshirt? Dont remember much action from him, hes one to watch also.

From the limited reps he had this year, I saw good balance from him. He can drop pass in coverage well for a freshman, is more of a make the tackle than monster hit guy, but we need more of that IMO. In an ideal world he'd be a Sam LB in a 4-3 or even an OLB in a 3-4, but considering the void we have there, I think he's the best option opposite White.

Didn't Divinity start at the beginning of the year? I remember him getting pulled and not seeing him for a couple games. Then played spot duty for the rest of the year.

That's how i remember it anyway.

Hopfully, pulling him allowed him to see the game better.

I'm hoping he starts next year.
