I can say with absolute certainty that the "local landowners" bid was not the high bid. However, that was the one accepted by the sheriff. (against state bid law) Process invalidated. Angry eviction notice served.

Care to elaborate? So the sheriff tried to accept a bid that wasnt the highest?

none of this surprises me, I just wonder what else the property could be used for? With as many years that it has been open the amount of lead in the soil out there has to be astronomical, I would think it would be unsafe for agriculture purposes?????
