I hate that for them, but that's life. I would love to live close to downtown, but I can't afford a $700,000+ house. So you find somewhere affordable and you make it work. Too many people with entitlement issues.
If he fulfilled his requirements and he has the opportunity to make more money, good for him. Welcome to America baby! Where we have the ability to choose where we live (even if it's not ideal) and choose where/how we work to provide for our families.

The pet class that all taxpayers pay to house and feed feel entitled to whatever they want. The truth is, there are more section 8 units in N.O. and these people will just be moved to another unit.

100% agree with you. I found myself on the short end of the stick before. I didn't go out looking for hand outs, I delt with it. I lived in my truck for the better part of the year. Lost my job and it was the easiest way to survive without sinking further into debt. People nowadays seem to be allergic to adversity. Adversity is what we all need, it shows us what we are made of. Either you roll over and take it/complain about it or you embrace the suck and keep moving forward for what you want. Take charge, this gimme hand outs bullshite needs to stop. Yes, this sucks for the people being pushed out but there are far more people in dire conditions that deserve to complain. Move. The. frick. On.
