Here is a key difference in Bama and some other programs. Bama coaches do not need "leverage" to get raises. They are given raises based on merit and performance. If Bama wins a title this year, the 2nd in a row and the 5th in 8 seasons, do you honestly think Saban wouldn't get a raise any way?
