and therein lies the problem with O, who has no identity as far as offense or defense

other teams can change OC/DC and the recruits still know what type of offense/defense they are likely to run because the HC has a certain identity

Good. I never stated that O was failing at recruiting. This is what he is supposed to be doing.

Man...you must have been sicken this morning when you heard the news that Lowell Narcisse had resigned with LSU and ended his recruiting, as it couldn't be anymore obvious that you want Coach O to fail so bad that you can even taste it.

How does that differ from an offensive coach like Urban, who loses his DC? Or Saban losing his OC this year? Bc he is a defensive guy will his recruiting class fall apart? I don't think so.
