The first half hour was a terrific take down of the Clinton campaign (and Dems in general - good analysis of how they lost Wisconsin). Now some stuff about the transition and coming up the electors and how all that works.

Morning Joe has been solid for months. Its easily my favorite political show on TV.
Joe has been calling out the democrats and HRC for the fact that they are completely oblivious to their own failures. Their lack of introspection is fricking stunning. He also calls out Trump when he acts like a retard. Sure, Mika and Joe both have their own biases, but they tend to call people out on both sides when they go full partisan hack.

Joe pretty much gets criticism from both sides which, in my opinion, means hes probably doing it right.
ETA: To be fair, Joe talks a lot of shite and plays it pretty loose, but he fricking hates the Clintons so to paint him as an HRC shill ala CNN is pretty dumb.

Not true at all.
I have watched MJ for a couple of years now - they talk politics while FNC talks recipes.
Of course they trended liberal, but not as much as you folks have described. FNC became unwatchable during the latter stages of the primaries and the election - that is for anyone who wasn't lining up to slobber on Trump's knob.

I'd agree with you there but they were on a Trump bashing roll leading up to the election. Their fairest assessment of Trump was during the very early stages of the campaign. Remember when they got their hands slapped after the picture of Joe and Mika came out showing them visiting Trump? Their narrative changed pretty quick.

They added Jeremy Peters from the failing NYT and he has brought a voice of reason to the show. Mike Barnacle and Mark Halperin seem to have resigned themselves to conducting actual political analysis instead of blatant hackery and partisanship.
Peters is actually very reasonable and even keel, something the show missed sorely through the last eight months.
Still, I prefer Maria in The Morning.
