I just want to say that as a peds nurse we GREATLY appreciate toy donations for our patients. Some of the toys will be ones that stay in the playrooms for children to play with over and over. Some will be given to children at Christmas. Some will be stored away and given later to a child that has to spend their birthday in the hospital. Some will be given as prizes to a child for being brave after a painful procedure such as an IV start or lab work.
So please consider donating to the link in the OP or you can also call your local Children's hospital and inquire about donating there. Ask to speak with someone in their child life department and they can tell you what needs they have.
I will say this.....the two age groups that never seem to have enough donations are babies and teenagers. People usually want to donate more "fun" toys and those two age groups get overlooked. But babies need toys to play with to distract them in the hospital. And a teenager still gets scared and sad as well when having to spend a birthday in the hospital.
