This.
They let this guy out in 6 minutes after arresting him for choking his wife. So since it's the norm for people that know the right people to get special treatment, it's ok that he likely went back home and beat the shite out of his wife even more for the embarassment?
And props for the APD for letting him make the call as he was being arrested. I'm sure they knew who he was and wanted to keep their jobs, but I doubt if you're picked up on Overton St you're able to make a phone call before they put the cuffs on you.

He did something, his wife or someone called the police, he sat and waited for them to come. He rode 15 mins to the station. It's not like they pulled him off of the victim and had to chase him down
I'm a ok with people getting in and out quickly, I like it
