These will pull you into another dimension. Highly detailed sound at low levels.

If you want sealed, check out Audio Technica ath-50. Theres a variation of them now.
Not the detail of the Grados. Open headphones generally sound better than closed.

Sennheiser HD 598 is highly regarded and less than $150 or so. My iPod Touch is able to drive them quite respectably.
