Ummm, you realize a black/asian/indian person can be a cornhusker, or a pirate, or a mountaineer etc etc. Those actually have nothing to do with race
I'll never forget when Spencer Hall made fun of the recruitment of Laquen Treadwell to OM. "How the hell did a kid from the southside of Chicago end up in Oxford? Because every kid growing up in Chicago is born whistling Dixie and wanting to be a rebel."
