There's already plenty of teams with various types of white people as mascots
Fighting Irish
Demon Deacons
Rebels
Buccaneers/ Pirates
Patriots
Cornhuskers
Mountaineers
etc..
Some of those are offensive stereotypes but nobody cares about that
Now, I hate the PC crowd I was just pointing out the differences in your post

I'll never forget when Spencer Hall made fun of the recruitment of Laquen Treadwell to OM. "How the hell did a kid from the southside of Chicago end up in Oxford? Because every kid growing up in Chicago is born whistling Dixie and wanting to be a rebel."
