I was as pro-Miles as anyone, but after the WI game it was time. Does that excuse our pathetic coaching search and the eventual hiring of Miles' own DL coach. Absolutely not.
It is absurd that we were all so unhappy with the current regime only to see an underling promoted. It's almost laughable.

Regardless of how this turns out, it was time for miles to go. He was given a chance to open up the offense and still didnt. Losing 3 games a year for 4 years is unacceptable at lsu. I thank him for his great tenure and move on.

A lot of cupcakes boosted Miles' overall record. Let's strip those out and look at his conference record:

2013: 5-3

Total: 21-13
Against the West, it's worse: 15-11
All this with elite recruiting classes.

Nick saban loses to an inferior team every year. During miles tenure no program in cfb beat more ranked teams.
