Why I think Helfrich would be a good hire.

He is a better OC than head coach. I didn't forget he was coaching in the national championship game less than 2 years ago and made Jimbo look like a fool. He's a creative playcaller. Can you imagine Helfrich and Aranda on the same staff? That's a scary thought.
The dude genuinely would be honored to coach here. I'm through flirting with Kiffin and the baggage he brings. Helfrich would give us some life on that side of the ball, and if Orgeron is really looking for dual threats, I am confident he can work with that and with what we already have.

If he's the guy LSU wants, we gotta hire him quick. Waiting around with our thumbs up our asses does no good at all.

I agree with this. He would be the best hire and would have a better chance of being a stable OC.
