It's all about self marketing and building a "brand"...not going to get the exposure overseas....Simmons benefited a ton by going to LSU, he was always talked about in all types of media

That's true, and I don't know how eager Euro teams are to sign a guy they know would be gone the next year.

Go be a nobody in Europe with a ocean between you and everyone you've ever known or go dick around a campus for a few months.
Europe would be such a cool experience and probably be Better for your game but i get why they go the safer route
