Good, I don't want him.
Best case scenario, he is successful and he is off to a HC position within 2 yrs.
More likely, he is a good OC, we win 10 to 11 games a yr, which we will probably do without him. And you have to ask yourself are the potential recruiting issues a concern long after he is gone. YES
As far as he is concerned, if he doesn't win a NC here and we happen to suck it up due to injuries, shite happens, etc. He will never get another descent gig again.
It is a no win situation for both us and him.

What you would have to ask is how long we would be on probation , and the number of scholarships we would lose.
