I know I'm late to the party but no matter how many people you expect to attend budget for no more than 80%of them showing up and eating/drinking. Even if you get close to 400 people at least 50-60 people will go to the ceremony, sign the guestbook and drop off a gift, and then leave without eating or drinking to go do other stuff.
