We had a group of tree planters assembled showing them what to do one morning, first morning on this tract. The farm manager rolls up on his 4-wheeler and has his rifle in the old-style rubber-coated gun racks. He moved the rifle and BOOM. Thank God that fricker was pointed across the field and not at the group.

Almost blew a friend of mine's foot off with a muzzle loader I thought was unloaded - it weren't. Scares me still when I think about it.

White bear. I had a similar story. Got finished rabbit hunting I had a old 16 gauge I thought was unloaded told a friend I could hold the trigger and pump the gun and it would fire just by holding the trigger down of course he didn't agree with me so I was attempting to show him and on the first pump boom it went off and splattered him with mud. I was scared shitless and still think about that day all the time
