Yeah. I mean just because you're a good OC and someone hires you doesn't prove you can beat them. Kiffin BARELY beat Aranda, and i wouldn't even call it "beating". Lucked out is more like it.

Also, I'm not sure i would say kiffin and sark "out-schemed" every team in America. Saban/Pruitt defense plays a large part in helping those guys out.

Not that they suck. I am just not sold either of them would be able to beat Saban after working under him for so long.

The point was that Saban believed them to be the best in the business, hence why he hired them.

They're good enough to be hired by the biggest CFB dynasty in your lifetime, but not good enough for LSU.

Lucked out is a huge stretch. Often times in the LSU-Bama game the play is TIGHT. Saban has enough years of experience to know that an LSU offense won't score on him much. Therefore he knows he can play conservative, field position football.

What did Kiffin do in all of Bama's games not at LSU vs. Aranda?

Again, the point is that the best coach in America at the biggest football powerhouse in decades trusted Kiffin with the keys to the Ferrari. But Ed Orgeron can't do that?

I would argue that Kiffin would have a slightly better chance of beating Saban b/c he worked under him for so long. Saban would know Lane's tendencies, which he could alter slightly.

The reality is that there isn't an OC in the land that you can say will beat Saban with much confidence.

You're the biggest Canada fanboy on this site. The majority of the defenses he is shredding are garbage and Pitt's D is so bad they're in shootouts every game.

Do you think that Nick would be more concerned about facing a Kiffin led offense, knowing that Kiffin was inside the program going up against his D daily or a Matt Canada directed offense that he could watch a season's worth of film on and likely limit severely?

There is a reason Nick is suddenly endorsing Kiffin for HC positions and trying to land him anywhere but Baton Rouge.
