Who made the decision to hire Alleva at LSU?

Were there not others interested in the position? It seems like this was one of the worst hires in the history of LSU athletics.

Well anyone who wanted Radacovich, keep in mind he hired Johnson at GA Tech and hired some bad basketball coaches as well.

He inherited Dabo at Clemson and forced out longtime baseball coach Leggett.

John V. Lombardi? Alleva followed Skip so I don't know if he influenced the hire.

Lombardi was fired by the way.

Les Miles
Van Chancellor
Manieri
and I believe Trent Johnson
