So offering another QB is a sign of betrayal. He's ok with Narcisse but not the other kid from Hawaii. I guess he thinks he's better than Narcisse and could beat him out easily. I don't blame O for seeing if the Hawaii kid was interested. I would want my hand picked guy behind center, because I'll be the one getting the blame if the QB position fails.
It is more than a sign of betrayal. O is telling him one thing and Narcisse another. See the thread from Narcisse's family guy, "I am GLORIOUS".

YOu people saying you're confused by this move because "O is such a great recruiter!" ... I keep telling you, it is a *completely* different ballgame being the HC/closer on stud QBs than it is being a DL position coach closer on DL studs. O has credibility and can talk the language with the latter. O is showing himself to have very little credibility on the former.

Being a great recruiter as a position coach does not even remotely equate to hauling in an even, highly rated class across offense/defense/ST as the head man.

I'm sorry but that thread was a bunch of BS. You can tell Narcisse that his skillset fits what we want to do while also telling Brennan that the best player will play. The two are not mutually exclusive. You guys will take any bullshite some anonymous poster says as gospel and an opportunity to shite on a coach that has been in the position for two weeks.

Know how I know that you don't know shite about recruiting? Because you're talking about a guy who's been the "recruiting coordinator" at LSU and USC as if he doesn't have any idea how to recruit positions other than DL.
