No way he returns punts in the NFL. He gives too many heart attacks on return decisions.
Now that said I think Tre is going to have a tremendous combine and really boost his draft stock. He's got really loose hips and he's so fluid with great ball skills. Sure he got beat a couple times but White has played 90% of the snaps since the day he stepped on campus...that's going to result in getting beat at some point.
Bottom line is he's done a fantastic job in the SEC and is going to put up great numbers at the combine. The only issue is the deep DB class this year, but he will have a long and rich NFL career
Eta: don't discount his intangibles. The guy is smart, works hard, and is a great leader. Hes going to say all the right things in his interviews. And I know anyone who's coached or played with him will vouch for that which is going to mean something to GM's. Consider it the opposite of the Sam montgomery effect.
