Yes and no. If I was a four star Mike LB and 5 schools had equal need for me, My playing time would be high at all my freshman year, and all other things were equal, LSU would be a no brainer since I was raised a fan.

If LSU had 3 LB's from each class waiting for playing time, I would be foolish to go there and possibly never get any playing time.

These kids want to end up in the league and will go where they have the best chance.
