No, he got pulled over for yelling "frick the police". The cops were going to pull him over regardless, but used the failure to maintain as probable cause.

Yeah I know, but he was already in the process of pursuit him before the "failure to maintain". The cop obviously can't use "yelling frick the police" as probable cause.

The hick cop should be fired.
He violated multiple constitutional rights of the driver. He created an unreasonable dangerous scene by flying down a two-lane road marked with a 45mph speed limit. He wasn't performing any of his job-like duties while on this escapade to fight 16 year-old teenagers.
Also, why do insufferable, shitty cops insist on referring to themselves as the poe-lice?
