Your opinion that Gasser's intent all along was to get McKnight out of the car so he could kill him probably would be laughed at in a court of law.
I don't know about that. He chased McKnight down (followed him through at least a couple of turns) and got out already armed. There could be a case made for some level of premeditation.
Add into it that after the initial shooting he stood over McKnight then delivered a couple of extra shots, I don't think 2nd Degree Murder is out of the realm of possibility at all.

Wow Bard, everything you just spewed is directly contradicted by the evidence made public.
The sheriff explicitly stated that all 3 shots were fired inside the car. He also said that the testimony of the stand over were false and that witness changed his testimony repeatedly.
The sheriff said that the incident (apparently) was a mutual road rage problem that escalated to a killing.
We can all believe that it was a tragic waste for a young man to die in a preventable needless manner. It was, and all of us should use this as a lesson to avoid such moronic situations. But it is up to a jury and legal facts to determine the guilt or innocence of the shooter under the legal definition of Louisiana law.
Spewing false information leads to outrage and more human misery.

It's really laughable just how much of this post is false...... Stop posting until you become better informed.
