Lane would definitely get and accept a HC offer first.

Admitting it now, I haven't done a whole lot of research on Helfrich.

Would the Oregon system even work at LSU and in the SEC?

What QB's has Helfrich developed without the help of Chip Kelly? (I don't give him credit for Mariota and don't think Oregon played very well this year.)

If the system works and he can coach QB, Helfrich seems like the better option.

Booger just completely blasted the thought of Helfrich. Said Oregon never beat any physical team and would rather watch paint dry than have him.

Surprising response. I would think he would be a good backup plan to Kiffin.

We beat them and held him to 27 points when he was OC at Oregon.
