LSU is waiting for the dominoes to fall so that we might land one of the top OC's in the country. And if we don't get Kiffin, then LSU will need to wait for other top candidates to get through this next recruiting phase, finish bowl games, etc.

It depends on circumstances as well, lets face facts, OC's are not lining up to work for Oregeron.. they will want to work for LSU but they arent coming here to work for him.. totally different than going to work for saban or someone else like that.. Oregeron is known as the dumbest hire in america in the coaching circles, no one expects him to be successful because of his resume, dont ask stupid fans, or anyone emotionally tied to it, talk to the people in the industry, it was literally the worst hire we could have made. So yeah, the lure of 2 million and the LSU brand will help, not having an OC is surely hurting us on the recruiting trail right now, recruits are waiting to see who we hire, we need a name and a good one.. because we lost big time when we hired Oregeron.. we will be good for one year, that is all... all downhill after next year..

didn't you have a $100 bet with anyone willing to take it because your people in the industry said Tom Herman was a done deal in October? If he's the dumbest hire in these peoples minds, then what does that make them for stating herman was done in October? irony, isn't it?
